Thought everyone might want to see a short clip from the Frank McComb set in Houston on 7/6. This is Frank's very excellent rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Where Were You When I Needed You" (sans the Superwoman intro). Marcus (owner of The Breakfast Klub) graciously opened his doors for a night of good music and good food to an RSVP crowd of about 70 people. The small, intimate restaurant turned out to be the perfect place for music fans to see an artist of McComb's caliber. The sound was great and the band was on point. McComb seems to have a knack for making any band he plays with sound like they've been playing together for years. Great show.

The Soul Sensai and the disciple. Frank and B. Pheezy.
The opening band did there thing. Grooved on some old school classics.
If you haven't been by Houston's The Breakfast Klub, you're missing out on great food and great people. If you're a fish and grits type of person, this is the restaurant for you. Check 'em out next time you're in Houston.
I also had a chance to speak with Frank about his music and some of the well-documented drama surrounding some of his past dealings with some of the record labels he recorded for. The audio and video will be posted soon. Frank definitely has plenty to say about what's been going down. Stay tuned. You don't want to miss what he has to say.
